Victorian Riding Pony Committee Presents
2010-2011 Riding Pony Sweepstakes
The Sweepstakes is a new event open to all members. It will be run using a similar system to the Newcomers Championship, whereby you purchase a card for your section from the Victorian Secretary. The nomination fee is $22.00 per pony per section, or $44 for entries after the 1st November 2010.
To qualify for the Sweepstakes finals you only need to gain 20 points at any of the official qualifying shows. Points are awarded as follows:
20 Points Champion
10 Points Reserve Champion
5 Points for 1st
3 Points for 2nd
2 Points for 3rd
The finals will be run at the 2011 Riding Pony of the Year Show, with the Sweepstakes prize dividend taken from the total entry fee's acquired from the scheme, placings from 1st to 5th.
The Sweepstakes final classes will be:
1.Led Youngstock Show Pony/ Show Hunter
2.Led Senior Show Pony / Show Hunter
3.Ridden Show Pony
4.Ridden Show Hunter
Nominations on above form including your pony's RPSBS registration number, the section(s) entered, entry fee(s) and a stamped self-addressed envelope should be directed to:
